Mitchell Smithy Honored At Lions Club Meeting
One often wonders where life will take us and the affect we may have on other peoples life. At the last lions club meeting Mitchell did not have to worry about one decision and that was to become a lions club member 25 years ago, According to Frank Young Lions club district president if it had not been for Mitchell asking to to join the lions club some years back he would not be filling the shoes he is to day. Once becoming a member Mitchell never looked back whether it is managing the yearly car show and selling programs at each of the Irish home games. Or simply serving a community function by frying up some cat fish of which he is famous in our part of the world.
