LIONS CLUB CAR SHOW
Each year the Lion club host a variety of local events to produce money to buy glasses for the children of Houston county and the surrounding area. One such event is the car show held each year on the second Saturday in October. Some years the weather works for us. This was one of the years the weather agreed although it started off a little foggy. The photo here is of Ray Bates the winner of this years show favorite. The winner of the best in show was a turquoise 1957 Chevy convertible and a beauty it was. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who entered their cars and the folks who visited the show and made donations. As usual I took
